- $JIMOTHYThe number 1 animal of 2026 is sitting at a $3M market cap. Here’s why I think the first leg was just the start. 1. The ceiling was the market, not the meme. Jimothy launched in July, in a memecoin bear market. He went more viral than almost any animal this cycle: Google search animation, a free Fortnite Sidekick, Among Us, Sims, WoW, D&D, a NASA post, White House, Elon. The coin still topped at $42M, because the liquidity and the people weren’t there. MOODENG and PNUT launched into the 2024 mania and went to hundreds of millions and billions. Same attention, different market. 2. Pump is ripping, Pump memes aren’t. PUMP is up 500% off the lows and is near its all-time high, while the top Pump-native memes have bled or chopped the whole time. Money went to stock pairs and new launchpads. That gap doesn’t last forever. When flows rotate back to memes, they need leaders. 3. People are tired of the tech metas. Everyone’s fed up with launchpads and unlimted reflection stock pairs. “Memes aren’t what they used to be” is the mood on CT, and that’s usually said right before memes come back. When they do, the obvious animal to buy is the one everyone already knows. 4. Everyone knows the ticker, and nobody is in it. Every big KOL was in it. Everyone talked about it. Now people call it a scam because it “topped early.” KOLs and whales sold to chase other metas. Long-term holders have capitulated at our new low. That means no insider bags waiting overhead, a sidelined crowd that knows the name, and huge stored awareness. 5. Price is the marketing. It doesn’t need a new viral moment. If price starts moving, the people who hate it now become the ones talking about it. KOLs buy back, Twitter catches on, then bigger exchanges, then normies who remember DOGE and SHIB. Memes have been born in bears before and become the coin of the next run. 6. It’s not just another dead animal coin. Jimothy gets compared to Punch, Penguin and PNUT, but those faded for specific reasons. Punch’s meme was an abandoned baby monkey holding an IKEA plush. He has since joined his family and outgrown the toy, so the story ended. The Penguin was a TikTok trend built on a 2007 film clip, and like most trends it died within weeks. PNUT was a news moment: he was seized and euthanized, and after that there was no new content or news extremely short lived. Jimothy is a living wild raccoon whose body shape is the meme, so every new sighting creates attention, Jimothy will be a content machine for years. His cultural footprint is also far larger. If we are to go into a bullrun, all time highs and a retail onboarding. The most famous animal to come out of this cycle is still Jimothy, there isn't another contender yet. As long as this is still the case i see no reason why this won't be the leading animal of the cycle and current PA is just multi month consolidation/accumulation. The longer the consolidation the bigger the breakout. In hindsight 3 mil will be a generational entry
